An individual players development is highly dependent on the amount of meaningful training and gameplay touches they receive. 

 

In comparison to traditional 11 v 11 soccer,  the game of Futsal is played in close quarters with fewer players on the court (5 v 5).  During a Futsal game, every player will see on average 300% more meaningful touches than a traditional soccer game.  The speed of the game requires players to develop quicker decision making skills, enhanced technical and ball control skills, and rewards creativity. 
All of these skills are better refined in small spaces, and therefore translate very well on a larger traditional soccer field.
